About San Fernando Valley

Defined by the Transverse Ranges, the San Fernando Valley is a vibrant mix of diverse neighbourhoods to the north-west of Downtown Los Angeles. It’s home to the cities of Burbank, Glendale and Calabasas, as well as some of Hollywood’s most iconic theme parks.

Things to do in San Fernando Valley

Ventura Boulevard is the heart and soul of the San Fernando Valley, packed with one-of-a-kind boutiques and vintage-inspired shops. You can look for antiques, vinyl records and period costumes, before dining at one of the quirky cafes and specialty restaurants.

The San Fernando Valley is home to two of Hollywood’s most-famous entertainment venues, Warner Brothers Studio and Universal Studios Hollywood. Tour iconic sets from Warner Brothers’creations, including the Central Perk coffee shop from “Friends”, while seeing what goes on behind the scenes.

If you’re travelling with kids, head to Universal Studios Hollywood, which boasts family-friendly rides and shows based on “The Simpsons” and the “Harry Potter” series. You can also enjoy restaurants, shops and attractions just outside the park along City Walk.
